Friends since 2014
Austin Fuller and Nick Powell met in college and quickly connected over the two subjects that still dominate their conversations: Star Wars and Minnesota Timberwolves basketball.
The friendship really took off during the buildup to The Force Awakens. Since then, the conversation has never stopped—through every Wolves season, every new Star Wars release, and every opinion that demanded an immediate response.
Wookiees & Wolves began because Austin and Nick were already FaceTiming and trading voice memos about all of it. The podcast simply gave them an excuse to keep talking—and invited everyone else into the conversation.
