Wookiees & Wolves (“W&W,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Wookiees & Wolves website and mobile application, how we use that information, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create a Wookiees & Wolves account, we collect information necessary to create and maintain your account, including:
- Email address
- Account identifier
- Account creation information
Your email address is used for account authentication, email verification, password recovery, and other account-related functions.
Profile Information
If you create a W&W profile, you may provide:
- Display name
- Username
- Profile image or avatar
Some profile information, such as your display name, username, and avatar, may be visible to other W&W members where community or leaderboard features display member information.
Wolves Predictor Activity
When you participate in the Wolves Predictor, we may store information including:
- Game predictions
- Prediction history
- Number of graded predictions
- Prediction accuracy
- Leaderboard ranking
Predictor statistics and certain profile information may be displayed to other users through the Predictor leaderboard.
The Den Activity
When you participate in The Den, we may store information about your interactions, including:
- Posts you like
- Polls in which you vote
- Your selected poll responses
Aggregate engagement information, such as like totals, vote totals, and poll percentages, may be visible to other users.
The Den also stores member-created discussions, replies and reply relationships, timestamps, reports submitted to moderators, posting restrictions, and thread-creation records used to limit spam, and in-site notification records including read status. Discussions and replies are visible to signed-in members alongside your display name and, on replies, your avatar. Reports and posting restrictions are available to administrators for community moderation. Deleting a reply removes its text; deleting your account removes your discussions and their replies, your replies elsewhere, submitted reports, posting restrictions, and thread-creation records.
Email Reminder Preferences
If you opt in to Holocron email reminders, we store your preference, consent timestamp, and delivery records. We use your account email address and whether you have completed either daily game to determine whether to send a reminder. You can turn reminders off in your profile or use the unsubscribe link in a reminder email.
Information You Provide to Us
If you contact Wookiees & Wolves directly, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.
2. How We Use Information
We use information collected through Wookiees & Wolves to:
- Create, authenticate, and maintain user accounts
- Verify email addresses
- Provide password recovery
- Maintain member profiles
- Save and display Wolves Predictor selections and results
- Calculate Predictor accuracy and leaderboard rankings
- Enable likes and poll voting in The Den
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve Wookiees & Wolves
- Send optional Holocron email reminders and manage subscription preferences
- Respond to questions, support requests, or privacy inquiries
- Prevent misuse, protect account security, and maintain the integrity of our services
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Service Providers
Wookiees & Wolves uses third-party service providers to operate portions of the service.
Supabase
We use Supabase to provide infrastructure including account authentication, database services, file storage, and server-side functionality.
Information associated with your W&W account may therefore be processed and stored through Supabase as necessary to provide these services.
Our service providers may process information on our behalf only as necessary to provide their services and subject to their applicable privacy and data-protection obligations.
Resend
We use Resend to deliver account emails and optional Holocron reminders. Resend processes the recipient email address, email content, and delivery information needed to provide this service.
4. Information Visible to Other Users
Certain information is designed to be visible within community features of Wookiees & Wolves.
Depending on your participation, this may include:
- Display name
- Username
- Profile image
- Predictor accuracy
- Predictor ranking
- Other Predictor statistics
- Aggregate likes and poll results
Your email address is not intended to be publicly displayed to other W&W users.
5. Data Retention
We retain account information and associated W&W activity for as long as your account remains active or as reasonably necessary to provide the service.
We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce applicable agreements.
6. Account and Data Deletion
You can permanently delete your Wookiees & Wolves account from your profile on the website.
Go to:
Profile → Delete Account
After confirming the deletion request, Wookiees & Wolves deletes account data associated with your account, including:
- Your W&W authentication account
- Profile information
- Profile avatar
- Wolves Predictor data
- Post likes
- Poll votes
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information associated with Wookiees & Wolves accounts.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
8. Children's Privacy
Wookiees & Wolves is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

Wookiees & Wolves may contain links to third-party websites, applications, social-media platforms, podcast services, or other external services.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Wookiees & Wolves changes or as legal, technical, or operational requirements evolve.
